Hey guys, I'm really interested in formulating an oil-based Bouquet of Leather (with Essential Oils), but...I haven't a clue about where to begin. (Having a number of formulas to examine would sure be a good place to start!) What I'm personally looking for, however, is that it *must* be "macho". ;o) Anyone got any ideas, perhaps?

Mon, December 8, 2008 - 2:19 PMGalbanum, Moschatus Abel, Oakmoss, A litle oud maybe , labdanum, a tiny bit of liquidamber orientalis, cedarwood, Rosewood, Larch!
this should be the most significant scents o create a leather odor, maybe you like some sugar or honey as well for the sligtly sweet scent.....not too much amber, mor galbanum and oakmoss in combine with oakmoss.
this should do it

Wed, December 17, 2008 - 8:30 PM"leather" is a perfume term used that describes alot of old-fasioned mens colognes- russian leather, etc. etc. it is generally regarded by the industry as an old standard for a 'mans' scent, lol

Mon, December 29, 2008 - 1:47 PMleather smells amazing IMO. Deer or Elk is my favorite... but I've also been working with leather since childhood. Reminds me of home :)
